The main advantage of our
ecoCLEANER 500 system is that it electrically charges/ activates and breaks down the pad printing inks and thinners at the sub-particle level and our water based ink remover (cleaning) agent is periodically filtered/ recycled and the waste particles (broken down ink components) are separated and the rejuvenated cleaning agent can be used over and over again.
After running a recycle run you are left with a
cake like powder residue that
can be safely disposed of in your local landfill as non-hazardous waste*. The water-based cleaning agent (Ink Remover Agent MPC 200-1) has been formulated using only non-hazardous and non-flammable components; yet it still performs the tough job of cleaning up solvent-based inks with safety and ease! This innovative microPrint
ecoCLEANER 500 cleaning system works great with both 1 or 2 component ink systems and it can even remove hardened 2-component epoxy inks (with a longer washing cycle) from various pad print machine parts.
*Note: This statement of claim is made with the supposition that you as the user are utilizing commercially approved and safe pad printing inks that are manufactured within the safety standards and regulations for North American consumption/ usage. Please consult with your local environmental expert/ consultant and/or appropriate regulatory agencies to be certain of your compliance with all local, state and federal laws before disposing of your broken down ink particles into a landfill.

This eco-friendly
ecoCLEANER 500 cleaning system uses state-of-the-art electronics to break down the pad print inks various components (i.e.: their pigments, binders, resins, solvents, etc.) and it uses surface tension science to fully clean all of the residual inks and solvents from the ink cups and clichés surfaces. The water based Ink Remover Agent is continually pumped and sprayed onto the parts using 2 stationary jet bars (see process diagram below) and the basket auto-articulates up and down during the cleaning cycle to spray off the ink residue from the parts. During the cleaning mode the system operates under a positive vacuum pressure to ensure that no oxidizing effect is taking place during the cleaning operation. This is important when dealing with corrosive materials such as carbon steel pad printing clichés.

Typically you will run a
recycling cycle after 6 to 10 washing cycles unless you have heavily ink covered ink cups and then you may need to
recycle sooner. In the
recycling mode the
ecoCLEANER 500 system filters and separates the broken down ink components from the (now) rejuvenated ink remover agent.
microPrint recommends running a 30 minute (variable timer controlled) recycling run and upon completion you’re left with a semi-dry powder that can be safely disposed of without hazardous limitations. The beauty of this filtration/ recycling process is that the water based ink remover agent is fully rejuvenated the ink remover agent can be used on a continual ongoing basis with little replacement... thus consuming much less cleaner than traditional solvent based pad printing cleaning systems.
The ecoCLEANER 500 is the green solution for your pad printing clean up needs and this eco-friendly cleaning system is much safer for your operators as well.
