Built for Precision Small Format Flatbed Screen Printing

The DT-2040 is a compact semi-automatic flatbed screen printing machine designed for industrial production environments where repeatable print positioning, practical operator access, and a relatively small machine footprint matter.

Instead of opening like a clamshell press, the DT-2040 lifts the screen frame vertically. The screen remains level as it rises, helping keep screen printing ink in the working print area while giving the operator a clear view of the part or substrate during loading and unloading.

Machine Features

Production Features for Repeatable Screen Printing

A straightforward industrial design with the adjustments and controls needed for efficient setup, repeatable printing, and day-to-day production.

01

Vertical Screen Lift

The screen frame travels vertically rather than pivoting from the rear, keeping the screen level throughout the operating cycle.

02

Industrial Drive & Pneumatics

WEG self-braking AC motors are paired with SMC valves and cylinders, with Festo cylinders used when available.

03

X/Y/R Positioning

Fine worktable positioning helps align fixtures, substrates, and artwork during machine setup and job changeover.

04

T-Slot or Vacuum Table

Configure the machine for fixture-mounted rigid parts or lightweight flat materials requiring vacuum hold-down.

05

Adjustable Print Tools

Squeegee angle, height, and regulated pressure can be adjusted to suit the ink, mesh, substrate, and print requirement.

06

Integrated Safety Bar

An E-stop safety bar is located directly in front of the work area for immediate operator access during production.

Machine Profile

DT-2040-V Vacuum Table Configuration

The DT-2040-V vacuum-table configuration is designed to hold flat, lightweight substrates securely during printing. The smooth work surface, front adjustment controls, and open print area make it well suited for sheets, panels, overlays, nameplates, labels, and other flat materials.

Vertical Lift Design

Keep the Screen Level and the Ink in the Print Zone

The vertical-lift architecture is one of the DT-2040's most useful design features. Because the screen stays horizontal as it rises, ink is not continually encouraged toward the rear of the frame as it is on a conventional clamshell-style press.

The open loading area also improves visibility of the substrate and fixture between cycles—especially useful for manually loaded molded parts, metal components, and short-run industrial work.

  • Vertical head lift with height adjustment
  • Linear ball bearings on hardened shafts
  • Quick-adjust horizontal print stroke
  • Foot-switch controlled production cycle
Industrial Components

Built with Proven Industrial Brands

The DT-2040 is built around established industrial components selected for dependable production use, straightforward maintenance, and long-term serviceability.

Motor System

Self-Braking AC Motors

Current-production machines use WEG AC motors with self-braking operation for controlled machine movement and positive stopping.

Pneumatic Standard

SMC Valves & Cylinders

SMC pneumatic valves and cylinders are used throughout Deco Tech machines as our primary pneumatic component standard.

Pneumatic Components

Festo Cylinders When Available

Festo cylinders are used when available. Pneumatic valves remain SMC, while cylinders are sourced from SMC or Festo based on availability.

Deco Tech component standard: Across our machines, pneumatic valves are SMC. Cylinders are SMC, with Festo cylinders used when available. Current-production DT-2040 machines use WEG self-braking AC motors.
Two Configurations

Configure the DT-2040 for Your Parts

The same printing platform is available with two worktable configurations depending on what you are loading into the press.

DT-2040-T

T-Slot Worktable

Best suited for rigid molded, machined, or stamped components that are located in a dedicated production fixture.

  • Injection molded components
  • Circular saw blades and guide bars
  • Stamped metal parts
  • Industrial housings and panels
  • Automotive components
DT-2040-V

Vacuum Table

Designed for lightweight flat substrates that benefit from vacuum hold-down to keep the material stable during printing.

  • Plastic sheets
  • Paper and card stock
  • Thin graphic panels
  • Textile sheet materials
  • Other flat lightweight substrates

Optional Safety Cell

Available with an Integrated Safety Cell

For applications that require added guarding around the print area, the DT-2040 can also be supplied with an optional safety cell. This configuration encloses the working zone while preserving operator access to the control panel and key setup adjustments.

The safety-cell option is especially useful when reviewing guarding requirements, operator access, or project-specific safety considerations for industrial production environments.

  • Optional enclosure around the printing area
  • Maintains front access to the operator controls
  • Supports projects with added guarding requirements
Machine Adjustment

Accessible Production Controls

Critical machine adjustments are positioned for practical access during setup and production, helping operators establish repeatable print conditions from job to job.
