Industrial printing has different artwork requirements than general commercial printing. Our prepress work is built around the limitations and capabilities of the production process.

Printability Review
We can identify artwork details that may create trouble on press, including fine lines, small text, tight registration, unsupported gradients, difficult separations and part geometry.
High-Resolution Film Output
3,000 dpi positive film output for pad printing clichés and screen printing stencils. Film output is available as a standalone service for customers producing their own tooling.
In-House Decorating Support
The same graphics department supports artwork used in Deco Tech's own pad printing, screen printing and digital printing operations, keeping prepress connected to production.

Good prepress starts with good production information. Include as much of the following as possible so we can review the job correctly.
Recommended Submission Checklist
- Supply artwork at 1:1 scale or actual intended print size.
- Include Pantone Matching System (PMS) numbers when applicable.
- Convert text to outlines when no text editing is required.
- If editable text is required, include the original font information.
- Include a color proof or visual reference when available.
- For decorating applications, include a sample part, drawing or clear photos showing the intended print location whenever possible.
Review the Artwork Before It Becomes a Production Problem

Artwork is cleaned, resized, trapped, separated or distorted as required for production.
Output
We supply production-ready files, high-resolution film or artwork for downstream tooling.
