Deco Tech Graphics & Prepress

Artwork, Prepress & Film Output Services for Industrial Printing

Deco Tech provides professional artwork preparation, prepress and high-resolution film output for pad printing, screen printing and digital printing. These services are available independently or as part of projects produced through our in-house decorating department.

We do more than prepare files. Our graphics team works directly with production printing, so artwork is reviewed with the actual process in mind — including line weights, small text, registration, trapping, distortion, separations, print direction and the geometry of the part.

Artwork Prepared for the Way It Will Actually Be Printed

Industrial printing has different artwork requirements than general commercial printing. Our prepress work is built around the limitations and capabilities of the production process.

01

Artwork & Prepress Preparation

File cleanup, vectorization, sizing, color preparation, trapping, separations and production-ready artwork for pad printing, screen printing and digital printing.

02

Printability Review

We can identify artwork details that may create trouble on press, including fine lines, small text, tight registration, unsupported gradients, difficult separations and part geometry.

03

High-Resolution Film Output

3,000 dpi positive film output for pad printing clichés and screen printing stencils. Film output is available as a standalone service for customers producing their own tooling.

04

In-House Decorating Support

The same graphics department supports artwork used in Deco Tech's own pad printing, screen printing and digital printing operations, keeping prepress connected to production.

From Customer File to Production-Ready Artwork

Whether the starting point is clean vector artwork or a low-resolution raster file, we can prepare the graphics required for industrial decorating and tooling.

  • Vectorization of raster or low-resolution artwork
  • Manual trapping for multi-color jobs
  • Distortion correction for curved and irregular parts
  • 4-color process separations
  • Color correction and custom color-curve adjustments
  • Artwork setup for pad printing clichés
  • Artwork setup for screen printing stencils
  • Production file preparation for digital printing
  • Artwork resizing to actual print dimensions
  • Review of line weight, text and registration requirements

3,000 dpi Film Positives for Pad & Screen Printing
