Preparing digital artwork for production can be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve created this pre-press guide to help you submit your art files correctly. Following these guidelines will save you time, money, and avoid delays or extra charges.
To ensure accurate results, please include:
- A color proof and a sample part of your artwork
- Pantone Matching System (PMS) color numbers, if applicable
- Artwork sized at 1:1, 100%, or actual print size
We prefer vector-based files in the following formats:
- .EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
- .AI (Adobe Illustrator files)
- .PDF vector files
Other formats may be accepted if necessary, but may require additional processing.
To avoid font issues:
- Convert all text to outlined shapes
- If you need us to edit your text, please include the original font files
For Pad Printing:
- 3 mil matte film
- 2,540 dpi
- Positive image
- Emulsion side DOWN for cliché
For Screen Printing:
- 3 mil matte film
- 2,540 dpi
- Positive image
- Emulsion side UP for screen
We accept files in CMYK or RGB mode. However, CMYK is preferred for print accuracy.
Before submitting, always:
- Review your file for image quality and errors
- Avoid low-resolution bitmap images (e.g., from business cards, brochures, or websites)
If low-quality artwork is all you have, we can work with it, but additional charges will apply for cleanup.
Yes, we can accept most file formats if absolutely necessary, but those outside our preferred list may require extra processing time or fees.
We can open and work with virtually all major graphic file formats. If you have a question about your artwork or need guidance on how to prepare your files, our team is here to help.
