Color Coded Thinner Bottles

For premixing your pad printing ink thinners, we offer the perfect set of 8 ounce PE squeeze bottles with a right angled dispensing nozzle, so you can quickly and easily squeeze thinner into your ink cup port hole.

You may wonder, why you would want to “pre-mix” your thinners. If you are printing in an uncontrolled warehouse environment, where temperatures and humidity can vary greatly throughout the year, you will need to pre-mix your thinner and retarders to compensate for these fluctuations in your working environment.  We strongly recommend that you blend your thinners & retarders prior to mixing them into your ink cup mixture. For example, you may mix 80% thinner and 20% retarder in one bottle and 70% thinner and 30% retarder in the next and straight thinner only in the third bottle.  This gives you the ability to quickly glance at the color coded tops and know exactly which thinner/retarder "recipe" you are using based upon the temperature and humidity that day. Think of a stop-light… Red top for your slowest mixture, Yellow top for your medium mixture and Green top for your standard 100% thinner.
