Curing

  • Recommended Curing: The curing process for Series 747 UV Pad Printing Ink depends on the UV energy applied and the layer thickness. Proper curing ensures optimal adhesion, durability, and chemical resistance. UV curing requires exposure to a mercury vapor UV lamp with an intensity of 1000-2400 mJ/cm² or equivalent LED UV systems. Full curing is achieved immediately after exposure to the correct UV dose, with maximum resistance properties developing over the following 12–24 hours under standard conditions.
  • Forced Curing (Optional): For high-production environments, ensure exposure to sufficient UV light intensity to achieve immediate surface curing and handling. Adjust curing settings according to substrate, ink deposit, and specific application needs to maintain efficiency and quality.

Processing

  • Cliché: Compatible with all commercially available clichés
  • Drying: Use UV Curing Conveyor - Energy consumption, depending on color shade, at 1000-2000 mJ/cm2 (Technigraf Integrator).
  • Cleaning: Use Neo-Solv 114
